Silvio Amato
L'Eclettico
Silvio Amato, a composer of classical, contemporary and popular music, and film soundtracks, was born in the Sicilian city of Catania, Italy (April 10, 1961). Currently, he resides in Marina del Rey, CA, moving from Boston, Massachusetts in March 2015, but maintains a studio in Milan, Italy.
I write music for Cinema,Tv and Classical music for Ballet. For fun I play tennis, ride bike with friends and I enjoy my family.
I moved to USA to stay with my children while there were studying in college.
When in 2011 the orchestra of New England Conservatory performed at Jordan Hall in Boston my oratorio “Illuminessence” for the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
I moved to Los Angeles because this is the world capital for the entertainment.
I love this idea and I think that this project will continue successfully.
Every single day I notice how much this country loves Italy and I’m very proud and happy to have the chance to share my cultural background.
