Sebastiano Moschini

Il Viaggiatore

Born in Milan, lived in Italy for the most of the years prior NY time, with the exception of 1 year in Barcelona, Spain. In NY since 1993, I constantly travel within the States and to Europe and everywhere else I can explore. I have a beautiful son, 2 years old, and everything now has changed, for the better.

What do you do in your life (work and fun)?

Work, meet people, travel, be a father. It is all work and fun. Love photography, playing soccer and golf, meeting people, especially here in NY.

What made you leave Italy and chose NYC?

A dream and a challenge: Always looked at NY as a unique, intriguing, exciting place. Difficult to survive, hard to resist, only for the braves.

Please share your best memory in the City.

20 years of thrill: every time I get back to Manhattan through a bridge I get emotional as the first time. The night is my favorite time; the only time she (NY) is all mine.

What made you choose this specific location and outfit?

The light, Park Avenue, you can beat it, one of the most iconic place in NY.. The outfit: you want to be dapper when NY looks at you…

Your thought about this project, ITALIANY.US

Different as we are not portrayed as immigrants but as what we really are: New Yorkers.

How would you describe being an ambassador of the italian style/culture abroad?

It is an honor and a pleasure: in such a great company, though! Hope we can leave a tiny, little trace of our passage.
