What do you do in your life (work and fun)?

I’m an Astronaut for the European Space Agency. I’m a triathlete, I love reading and music. Traveling is a big part of my life

What made you leave Italy and chose Houston?

I chose Houston, where I work at the Johnson Space Center. A very unique work place.

Please share your best memory in the City.

My wife and I were in Broadway. We were going to pick a show to watch, and we couldn’t decide which one we wanted to see more: there were so many available! I thought it was wonderful.

What made you choose this specific location and outfit?

It shows a part of me which is almost never seen, in a location that is very familiar to most that know me.

Your thought about this project, ITALIANY.US

Any time we can present our beautiful country in a positive light, count me in.

How would you describe being an ambassador of the italian style/culture abroad?

I find it’s very simple. Italians are loved and respected everywhere I go, certainly as professionals, even more for their human qualities.
