Giorgia Lo Savio

La Produttrice

I set up Jinga Pictures with a view to producing groundbreaking feature documentaries and films with international appeal. I have worked in the film industry for over fifteen years in a number of different positions including independent producer, publicist, theatrical consultant and sales agent in institutions of note in the UK and US. I have been invited as mentor and jury at international workshops and festivals in Latin America.

What do you do in your life (work and fun)?

I produce documentaries and films. Love watching movies, traveling and go wild, exploring always fascinated me. Have a good drink with friends always puts me in a good mood. I love adventures and combine outdoor sports and be close or see the ocean, a sun worshipper.

What made you leave Italy and chose Miami?

I first left Italy to go to London. I needed to explore one of the most talked cities in the world and needed to be somewhere crazy and international where everything is possible. Miami came up for some good opportunities to be closer to Latin America where I have spent time over the years for different reasons and for me an opportunity to be closer to the ocean. And because Miami is Miami, you can have a good quality life, an outdoor life, and simplicity at the same time you can have real fun.

Please share your best memory in the City.

Five days with some of my closest friends who came from different parts of the world for my 40’s having just arrived in Miami, a lot of laughs, warm moments, long lunches, beach, jet-skiing and cruising around South beach islands, and enjoying wonderful company in a cool city, very special days!

What made you choose this specific location and outfit?

It is the first amazing parking space I have ever seen and which I saw immediately when I arrived in Miami Beach. One of the most striking buildings in this city, unique! My outfit because I like to be chic, sensual, feminine, professional but with a different touch..Be noticed and unnoticed with class..

Your thought about this project, ITALIANY.US

Interesting, fascinated by black and white photos and nice to be remembered. Italians are really everywhere each one with our own story.

How would you describe being an ambassador of the italian style/culture abroad?

I pride to be Italian and it is a pleasure when I get complimented of having that Italian touch with things I do in my personal and professional life… with Italian style.
