Elisabetta Canalis was born in Sardinia, Italy, in 1978. After working on italian tv and cinema for 15 years she gets a role in the 3rd season of the american Tv show Leverage. She models for different brands and designers. She is an animal lover and Peta spokesperson for 2 different campaigns. Elisabetta is Unicef Goodwill ambassador and she went in Lebanon at the borders with Syria to show the situation that Siryan refugees are living in the last years. She married the spine surgeon Brian Perri in 2014 and is now based in Los Angeles.
I love traveling, knowing different cultures and places but my heart will always be owned by Sardinia, where I was born.
I studied english in Ny for a little while at the Metropolitan University, I also stayed there for few months shooting an italian movie. I have always loved the City and as soon as I can I try to spend at least couple of nights every year.
My best memory about LA is when they invited me for my first red carpet. I got a small Part in a movie and they wanted us to the screening in LA. As soon as I saw California I fell in love! The weather, the way they live, the food and the energy of LA immediately took my heart. I swore that one day I was coming to live there…
Alexo took these pictures in Los Angeles where I live, exactly on the PCH (Pacific Coast highway) close to Malibu. It is always beautiful there, anytime during the year… so that’s why we chose this location.
I really like the way Alexo works and his intuition in creating art. I was happy to participate to this project and I wish him the best for his carrier.
I don’t really feel to be an ambassador of the italian style abroad, it would be very complicated and I am just happy to enjoy it whenever I want…
