Claudio Del Vecchio, an international business entrepreneur and industry leader, is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Brooks Brothers Group, Inc. He is also Executive Director of Luxottica Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of eyewear. Claudio received his doctorate in Business Administration from Bryant University and this May he was named into the “Cavalieri del Lavoro”. the order of the Knights of Labor, in his native Italy.
Chairman & CEO, Brooks Brothers Group, Inc. Director, Luxottica Group. Golf. Lives on Long Island with his wife, Debra and two children, Cristian, age 14 and Angelica, age 12. Very involved with the children’s school and sports. Both Claudio and Debra are highly philanthropic and dedicate their spare time to many worthy organizations.
Came to the US in 1982 to run the Luxottica North America operations. Was instrumental in transforming Luxottica into the premier factory-direct eyewear organization in the US. In 1990, Claudio directly oversaw Luxottica’s public offering on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE-LUX).
The Brooks Brothers 185th Anniversary Party was truly an experience and we were very proud.
