Il Falco Della Notte

I used to live in Milano for 2 years modeling. After that I traveled to Paris, Tokyo and all over Europe and I arrived to NYC few years later and I moved to Miami where I worked for 10 years running the night life in Miami beach, modeling and acting. After that I did work with HBO and Andy Garcia, then I moved to LA where I worked for “Days of Our Lives” soap opera, “Law&Order” and a lot of independent movies. I worked on some Ads with Julia Roberts and Clive Owen too. In the list of movies I starred in there are: “The Adjustment Bureau” with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, the coming up new movie “A walk among the tombstones” with Liam Neeson, and “The Cobbler” with Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman and Steve Buscemi. I am currently living in NYC, hustling as much as I can!

What do you do in your life (work and fun)?

My work and fun goes hand in hand. I like the challenge, I love anything that is creative. I do some art, acting and modeling, anything that challenge me. So to me work becomes fun.

What made you leave Italy and chose NYC?

I was working in Milan as a model and every time I was working I was paid by day, the agency was taking around 60/70% off my paycheck.
As soon as I got in NYC, my first job was 4 hour minimum, a catalogue, they were paying by hour: I made 450$ per hour and the agency just took 20% off my paycheck. Super professional, they paid the same day! This event made me say “Goodbye Italy – Welcome America”!

Please share your best memory in the City.

First of all NYC is crazy! I never experienced a city like this in all my life and I lived a little bit everywhere. In this city I had the best and the worst moments of my life. I can say that everyday is an emotional roller coaster.
Why do people come to NYC? A super cold and very expensive city? Because is also the city where your dreams can become true in every business and aspects.
I had a lot of fun and met a lot of amazing people. My best moments are the ones I experienced working professionally with the best people in the business. I just finished working face to face with Dustin Hoffman. For sure my best memory, unbelievable.

What made you choose this specific location and outfit?

The location we choose is Central park and the outfit was a bit gangster, the memory I wanted to recall was “King of NY” by Abel Ferrara, the most amazing, genius, crazy, inspiring artist which I had the chance to work with. The outfit reminds a little bit Christopher Walker as Frank White in “King of New York” and the location Central Park, next to the Plaza Hotel where Frank White used to live.

Your thought about this project, ITALIANY.US

It’s a great project! This amazing and beautiful photographer, Alexo, came up with an amazing idea. We need to be a little bit more “patriotic”, we need to push and embrace Italians outside Italy, and there are millions of us around the globe.
It’s beautiful for us to be part of a project like this, together, representing Italians in America.

How would you describe being an ambassador of the italian style/culture abroad?

Certainly an honor, let’s face it everybody wants to be Italian! The only ones that don’t want to be are the Italians themselves. If someone comes to Italy, even if they were housekeeper back in their country, in Italy will become a showgirl or TV celebrity. It’s a shame, we should push our people. In Paris they hire just French people. In James Bond movies there are just brands representing the British market and the actors MUST be British. In Italy? Dolce&Gabbana models? They look Italian, but they are never italians. Why don’t we push our people which are the best people, the most creative and best artists?
