What do you do in your life (work and fun)?

I am and art advisor, curator, art writer. I play electric bass (white), compose electronic music and soundtracks, obsess over Op Art, Kinetic Art , A. Jodorowsky and tartufi bianchi. I also ride my bike everywhere and travel to places with the least amount of people as possible.

What made you leave Italy and chose NYC?

… the amazing NY pizza.

Please share your best memory in the City.

I have so many, it’s hard to choose, I also abhor namedropping but since I must write something, I will mention the time I sang a duet at Continental Divide on Saint Marks with the great Joey Ramone.

What made you choose this specific location and outfit?

The outfit reflect my passion for Asia, particularly Japan, and it goes well with my white bass guitar.

Your thought about this project, ITALIANY.US

Great idea, I’m amazed it hadn’t been done before. Alexo is a great photographer and and a nice guy, very committed to his work. I wish him all the best.

How would you describe being an ambassador of the italian style/culture abroad?

I wouldn’t call myself an ambassador… I believe that being born in Italy, near Venice, instilled my passion for the arts. Being an Italian living in New York gives me the chance to open up dialogue between people using art as a universal language, capable of healing, bridging differences and uniting cultures.
