What do you do in your life (work and fun)?

I am an Interior Architect, I have my own design firm Diamante Pedersoli Design, Inc. Love what I do and love that I am my own Boss! For fun I hike (LA is the best), run, spend time w/ my crazy dogs, go to museums, travel the world, cook amazing dinners, spend time w/ and entertain my friends, but mostly laugh w/ my son.

What made you leave Italy and chose NYC? LA?

I left Italy to go to the States by chance for College to study abroad never thinking I would stay and build a life here. Lived in Providence, Boston, NYC, and now LA.

Please share your best memory in the City.

When you wake up and the sun is shinning, the air is warm, the views at the top of the hike spectacular, the runs on the sandy beach infinite you can create memories everyday… The best ones!

What made you choose this specific location and outfit?

The location is home the outfit is not glamorous but it is what I feel comfortable in… Black denims, a T-shirt, a pair of high heels a panama hat. Laid back w/ a little bit of sexy.

Your thought about this project, ITALIANY.US

I like the idea of documenting the lives of others (of mine), our Italian heritage, the moment we live in. In today’s digital age images are racing in front of our eyes constantly w/out a pause. Hopefully, THESE images will become prints in a frame or pages in a book and will pause and become permanent. 

How would you describe being an ambassador of the italian style/culture abroad?

I don’t think I have the honor of being an ambassador of Italian Style or Culture but hope that the love I have for my country is present in everything I do. From the style and design of my projects, to the way I dress and the wine and food I share w/ my friends and family.
