Born in Milan too many years ago I finished my studies at the Universita’ Bocconi before relocating to United States. My first job in New York was to manage an upcoming restaurant chain called Bice. During my first two years in the City, I have met the Loro Piana’s president, who had offered me the possibility of joining the company. 22 years later I am the Senior Vice President of the Loro Piana Luxury Goods Division.
As the person responsible for both the retail and wholesale business, I travel quite extensively throughout the US as well as Europe. The Fun part of my life is now spending time with my children, playing all sorts of sports.
It was the only way to avoid the military service. I was able to find a management position with a restaurant chain based in NY.
Having spent 25 years in the city I have many great memories, but I will never forget my first night in the streets of NY mesmerized by the beauty of a city that never sleeps.
That has always been my neighborhood. I have passed by that location most of my NY life. My outfit is what I wear when I work and the way I dress is part of what I do for living.
It is a fun project as it puts together a lot of different people with many stories in common.
Something that we should be all proud of. Style and culture are strong elements of our Italian heritage and they provide us a great sense of belonging.
